further fun with the stove
Feb. 2nd, 2006 11:01 amSo I received an e-mail at the end of the day yesterday. The stove we ordered was "not in stock" (guess Sears' website isn't as up-to-date on what's in stock and what isn't as they'd like - the website stated it was in stock. Lame.), please call and tell us what you want to do.
So I called this morning and asked "so when is it going to be in stock?" Five minutes of hold time later, the answer is "we don't know." So I ask about the availability of the self-cleaning model of the same stove. Back on hold...
"That one's available. And since the website was wrong about the availability of the other model, we'll give you the new one at the same price."
Score!
Happy Happy me (I *really* hate oven cleaner fumes).
