i love my neighbors
Jan. 25th, 2006 04:40 pmI'm really going to miss the college student who lives next door to us (she's moving at the end of January - finished at UCSC and moving to a smaller place). She was majoring in Child Development (as I recall) and loved having all the kids from our complex over, thus giving the parents some time to do, you know, adult stuff. (like cleaning the house!)
In other neighborly news, the child here who's closest in age to my daughter had his birthday today. She was invited, and I got some time to putter with the computer. Best part, though? His mom sent over a piece of cake for me when the party was over. [urp]
Our neighbors are, by and large, pretty cool. except the gal we share a wall with, who starts practicing her drums at 9:00 pm. Hey lady, we have a kid who needs her sleep!
