i'm alive, thanks for asking ;)
Aug. 7th, 2006 11:19 pmso it's been a while since i checked out the old LJ. just been a bit discombobulated, i guess. (so if your head is on straight and everything is fine, does that mean you're combobulated? somehow, i doubt it.)
had a job interview saturday. first one in months. i haven't quite sunk to the level of applying to fast food joints yet, but it's getting close.
it'd be nice to hear if i got into the credential program i applied for, but their deadline was just on Friday so it'll probably be a couple of days yet. and how would i balance that with the job i just interviewed for, should i get it, i don't know. but both situations are hypothetical for now, anyway.
one step closer to replacing my clapped-out old Volvo with a parental hand-me-down (which is still 13 years old, but has been treated a lot better than the Pale Horse which was clearly rode hard and put away wet a lot during its 22 years of existence...). will be posting pictures once it is well and truly mine.
lovely daughter is doing the typical second-grade-teeth-falling-out-in-all-directions thing. one out yesterday, the one next to it hanging by a thread, and one on the bottom row loose as well. eh, don't all kids look like jack-o-lanterns in their second grade pics? (not me - i never showed my teeth in school pics until, um, soph year in high school.)
anywho, just blathering, and now it's bedtime, i think.
