I got my W-2 and one of my mortgage interest 1098s today (if there are any non-USAn readers out there, these are tax forms), and thought to enter them into TurboTax instead of what I did the last couple years and wait until everything had arrived, which inevitably results in something getting lost and me flailing around in a panic until I find it.
So, I fire up TurboTax and naturally, it asks me if I want to run auto-update, as there may be new stuff which I don't yet have that isn't on the CD (they release the CDs around the end of November). I say yes, and One-Click Update swings into action... and fails.
So I try to open up TurboTax again, and it won't open.
I try to go to Intuit's website to complain. Firefox won't open. Opera won't open. Internet Freakin' Explorer won't freakin' open.
It appears that my Mac has rejected all non-Safari browsers.
So, natural reaction - I delete TurboTax and re-install it (grumble, grumble). Of course, what happens when I start it up? It goes straight into One-Click Update, which fails again, and hoses TurboTax again.
Lather, rinse, repeat...
