So the Cleveland Browns fan who ran onto the field during his team's 41-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Eve has been found guilty of disorderly conduct while intoxicated (big surprise there) and criminal trespass. The charges, while misdemeanors, add up to three days of jail time.

So this is the great part - the guy's a total football nut, right? The judge set his sentence to run over the Super Bowl weekend. And he's not going to have access to a TV or a radio during the jail time. Furthermore, he's not allowed to attend any football game for five years as a condition of his probation.

Now if I were a Browns fan, I wouldn't want to attend any games (although, as a follower of the 49ers and Raiders, I shouldn't be casting stones from my glass house). But you gotta figure that this will make an impression on the bozo...

So I ran my last entry through The Gematriculator, a site which uses Gematria (Biblical numerology, aka the "Bible Code") to determine "goodness" and "evilness".

My results?
This site is certified 10% EVIL by the Gematriculator

Sigh. Back to the old drawing board...

I got my W-2 and one of my mortgage interest 1098s today (if there are any non-USAn readers out there, these are tax forms), and thought to enter them into TurboTax instead of what I did the last couple years and wait until everything had arrived, which inevitably results in something getting lost and me flailing around in a panic until I find it.

So, I fire up TurboTax and naturally, it asks me if I want to run auto-update, as there may be new stuff which I don't yet have that isn't on the CD (they release the CDs around the end of November). I say yes, and One-Click Update swings into action... and fails.

So I try to open up TurboTax again, and it won't open.

I try to go to Intuit's website to complain. Firefox won't open. Opera won't open. Internet Freakin' Explorer won't freakin' open.

It appears that my Mac has rejected all non-Safari browsers.

So, natural reaction - I delete TurboTax and re-install it (grumble, grumble). Of course, what happens when I start it up? It goes straight into One-Click Update, which fails again, and hoses TurboTax again.

Lather, rinse, repeat...
