axolotl9Oy. Sixth graders. 80 degrees in the classroom. The day after the science fair.
Still, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Their teacher apparently introduced them to the concept of collective responsibility yesterday, so there was a conscious effort made by the majority of the class to quash the troublemakers.
I'd forgotten (suppressed?) how wound up a class can get by one or two students. Didn't want to fall back on sending the ringleaders to the office, though - that would be an admission of failure.
But yeah, tiring day. I shall sleep well tonight.
