scrambled days

i'm REALLY REALLY REALLY ready for it to be sunny now.

my feet are cold. my nose is cold. i'm sitting in my living room wearing 3 cotton-pickin' layers of clothing! enough already!

Pacific Coast Dream Machines (annual car/airplane/antique and interesting machinery show in Half Moon Bay) has been canceled - the field where the exhibitions normally go is still so soggy they're afraid everything would get bogged down. drat. i actually knew about it far enough in advance this year that i was considering going. but it's NOT HAPPENING. yet another thing for which i can blame the weather.

on the bright hand, it was nice enough this weekend that the garden space got about half weeded. planting's so late this year, thanks to the weather. though if the late summer/fall weather is similar to last year's, i should end up with tomatoes into november again.
