Hello, World!
Jan. 6th, 2006 09:54 amSo today is my wife's birthday. Somewhere in all the other stuff I'm doing today, I need to make dinner reservations (oops) and wrap presents. That last part won't take too long, though - still lots of containerage left over from the recently past winter gift-giving season.
I'm tempted to get flowers, too. Not cut flowers, though. She loves roses, so I think I'll go to our favorite garden store and have a look at what's new & cool in climbing roses. Then again, the ground's still so swampy from the December deluge that maybe I'll just get her a rose certificate -- "good for one rosebush" -- and a single long-stemmed rose to go with.
What do y'all think?
