ah, urban wildlife
May. 5th, 2006 10:08 amhmmm... i hope our neighbors' cat isn't out and about this morning. a beautiful skunk just scampered through our back yard.
my worry about the cat is twofold - either it'll get sprayed, or possibly just beaten up by the skunk (it's kind of a skinny cat, and this was a fairly large skunk.).
skunks are cool. when my mother was growing up, she had a pet skunk for a while. not deodorized, either - just a skunk that wandered into their house one day and decided to stay for about a year and a half.
