(no subject)

So I was watching Monarch of the Glen sort of half-assedly while fiddling with the computer. Our local PBS station is up to Series 6 (of 7) and they were introducing a new character - a rather eccentric brother of a character now deceased. Lovely wife was explaining the background of said character and I looked over at the screen, saw the fellow in question, did a double take and said "He looks like he's missing a scarf."

She took my implication, and said "I don't think that's who you're thinking of. So naturally, I dive for IMDB, and it turns out I'm right. Tom Baker may be rather rounder and greyer than when he played The Doctor, but there's no disguising that nose or those ears...
