no business like snow business
Snow! We went up to Bonny Doon today to see if any had stuck. Halfway up Empire Grade our lowland rain started having more solid bits in it. Eventually, we were driving through falling snow. Pretty!
We stopped at a turnoff opposite Crest Ranch, a local Chrismas tree farm. Their website claims they're at 2600 feet, which is a fair way up. This is 17 miles (give or take) from our house in Santa Cruz. Seems like a whole different world with snow on it.
Many photos were taken, but using legacy technology. ;) (film!) So I don't have 'em to link in yet, but when I do I'll post here.
